Imagine

In the past week I was out with my family for my big sister's birthday. Somehow while we were talking we got on the subject of babies. Out of my two sisters I was a surprise baby. My mom told us that we were all blessings. (all babies are!) Well my mom then looked at me and told me a special memory that she remembered : "It had been about a week since you had been brought home from the hospital" my mom said "you were asleep on the bed and I looked down at you and said "Miranda, when we first found out we were going to have you we were a little surprised, but even over this short time I can't imagine life without you."
    I have to admit after my mom said that I got a little teary eyed, my mom too. I had put on make-up that day (I don't wear it very often) my mom chided me saying "don't cry, you'll mess up your make-up" I laughed at that, and smiled. "I didn't think that would make you cry," my mom said "I didn't want to make you sad."
"I know" I replied.
    truth was It made me feel happy, sometimes I don't feel to important. But hearing that from my mom, that even then when I was that young my mom thought I was important and couldn't imagine life without me.  I am loved, and I know that I can't imagine life without my family.  <3
